We are looking for a VP Engineering to lead, mentor and expand the development team. As a VP of Engineering, you will be primarily responsible for shaping up the features and technical execution of the product roadmap. You will work with your team to build systems that stress scalability, accuracy and robustness. Your team will be presented with ample opportunities to tackle fuzzy business problems and create an impact for our customers and driver partners.
The VP of Engineering has a key role in leading, developing and scaling up engineering capability to keep up with the high growth of their product and to timely deliver a high quality, world-class product
Provide inputs, estimates, and plans to the management for product and feature development. Set and manage expectations, communicate, and execute goals within timelines
Understand and collaborate on a complete product lifecycle from concept to execution.
Own all initiatives to develop and scale technology, execute an aggressive roadmap, institute best engineering practices, and deliver innovative products
Developing standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent
Would be responsible for Backend, Frontend, Infrastructure, Architecture, Scalability, server-side engineering and all other technological aspects of the product
Maintain efficient technical systems that enable the company to run highly efficient operations
Help set the technical direction for the team, drive the evolution of the system architecture, and make appropriate technology choices
Recommend new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency
Lead and expand the existing engineering team; identify new talent; manage, mentor & retain all members of the team
Coordinate with managers and senior members and ensure appropriate utilization of resources
Having regular one to one sessions with the team members
Maintain close communication with the team
Resolve conflicts or disconnects in the workflow and address them.

Will participate in the production support escalation process.
Will be expected to be involved in code reviews
